CONSTRUCTION TO CLOSE THORPE/DEL REY INTERSECTION

Beginning today, Doña Ana County road crews will close the intersection of Thorpe and Del Rey roads to install new wastewater lines and a water main. Construction is expected to be ongoing for at least six weeks.

Warning signs and detours will be posted. Motorists are advised to use alternate routes where possible and to slow down and expect delays in the construction areas. Motorists also are reminded to exercise caution in all areas where workers are deployed.
