Road Closure on Las Cruces Avenue

Las Cruces motorists are advised that Las Cruces Avenue from Church Street to Water Street will be closed beginning Monday July 26th starting at 7:00 am. The road closure will be in effect for approximately three months. 

Traffic will be experiencing the road closure for through traffic in the east-west direction traffic on Las Cruces Avenue and north-south direction on Main Street from Griggs Avenue to Las Cruces. Motorists seeking access to the Farmers’ & Crafts Market and businesses in the area can do so as before by following detours that are in effect. Access to businesses will be maintained. Motorists will be asked to decrease speed through the construction zone and should proceed with caution.  Motorists using this road as a through route only and not specifically to access a property should seek alternate routes if available.    

Jaynes Corporation will be removing and replacing the existing infrastructure at this intersection. RoadRUNNER Transit Route 10 may be affected by these road closures.
